  1. Got a text from Rand this morning, he couldn't make it. And for some reason it was too easy for me to just stay in bed, man I am a wuss when it comes to the Seven :). But I'll get it done, this week, can't let it beat me twice--last time it came up I skipped it as well

Can't wait to see how everyone does, good luck!

    1. I actually think I remember a conversation at the Red Rock pool about this one....you've got it Todd! I'm right there with you on the staying in bed....if I hadn't told my neighbor 5am- I wouldn't have gotten up either. lol

  2. This workout ALWAYS crushes me, literally. I was sick to my stomach and had the chills. I had to jump in a cold shower because I felt like I was going to pass out!!! I used the 35 minute time cap that CFNE gives for their regular class. I figure there's a reason for the time cap. Someday I'll actually get all 7 rounds in!

    1. Way to get at it Shelly, I've committed to it, so I will give it my best when the time comes around.
Everyone who comes over and works out with me is always so greatful that I let them come and use my equipment and take some of my time--secretly I'm smiling because my "generosity" is somewhat born of selfishness-I ask them to come so I can't weasel out of a WOD :).

Did you see the replies to the comment over at the competitors blog where the guy reported a 4:xx time on the Sevens? Pretty funny! Especially since I've recently been guilty of not finishing a WOD as programmed because I didn't read carefully enough.

  3. Did the sevens. I really tried to have a game plan going into this one. I figured if I could complete each round in 5 minutes or less I could go sub 35 minutes for sure, possibly sub 30 minutes. I paced myself from the beginning. Mentally trying to take each exercise 1 at a time and then 1 round at a time. I find if I start thinking about all the work still ahead I get thrown off. Once past the thrusters in each round, I felt good feelings. With that being said I finished in 30:27. Good luck Todd on this one. Just start the clock and go. After seeing Shelly come in the house at 6:30am post wod I have to admit I got scared. She is my motivation.

  4. Thanks for the advice, I will try to keep the head clear and just focus on the current rep--this is going to be crazy.
I think Jayna and Chrissie are at it right now. We'll see how that goes. It may have to wait for tomorrow for me.

  5. We did this one yesterday. Time after 3 rounds was 15 min. Then someone stopped by to talk about soccer. I finished, but not with the same intensity. Way to push hard Shelly! I didn't get to the DUs either, though I like those. I did 70# for the thrusters and elevated feet ring rows because of a ripped hand.
