OK...WOD DONE!!! Finally got upstairs and did it.. Had to modify what Shelly gave me though...Single Unders were NOT happening with my knees today. I substituted Burpees ( i hate them too btw ).
6 x 2 front squats with 40 # 5 rounds of 20 Burpees 15 Thrusters with 25# dumb bell check out: 50 sit-ups for time (1:58) Time to make dinner!
As for the Paleo Challenge Shelly, It's been a lot better than I had expected. If anything, I have a good idea of what portion I should be eating and what balance of proteins, carbs, and fats I should be taking in. Essentially, for the most part, if it comes out of a box or bag then it's not something I should be eating. The protein shakes and bars have been great for breakfast and snacks so that has been helpful to me as well. John is joining in on the paleo diet too and he's doing great and feeling great. So far so good. Not sure what to expect for weight loss but either way I will be encouraged to eat better.
It's going good! Much better the second time around for me. Joe is struggling a little just because he doesn't understand how it works. But I feel a thousand times better :)
