This great, Kami says she is in and it looks like you are getting a good response out there in Cali, should be fun, but it is going to be tough--we chose the toughest time of the year, staring the week of Halloween, going through Turkey day, and finishing a few days after Christmas.
Last nights WOD: Ryan came over and threw some stones around with me. We did 3 rounds of 90 seconds Stone over 48" bar resting as needed between rounds. We used the 145# stone. I got 7, 8, 5 reps. I have to say, I really love working with those stones, so much fun and so hard at the same time.
This morning the boys and I did long intervals at the school track--Run 6:00 rest 4:00 for a total of 3 rounds. The boys dug in deep on that last one, Merric and Cael would change directions occasionally (guess they got tired of turning left) and each time they passed me Merric asked, how many minutes left, he was beat, but kept on pushing til the end.
I think it's perfect to do it during the holidays....that's when I need it the most :) Also, it's going to be fun trying to find yummy subs for Thanksgiving dinner. We'll have to add a recipe tab so people can share their favorites!
