Shelly, sorry to hear about your frustration with Snatch WODs lately--nothing kills modivation more.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the boys and I are doing the CFE interval WODs on Monday and Wednsday mornings at 6 before school. We love it, I've never looked forward to running more. They all really look forward to it and make me promise to wake up on time to get them out there. I am very excited to see how it helps them physically and psychologically (more confidence in their athletic performance), plus, it's one more thing that helps us spend time together. In a few months I'm going to see if we can start working in the tempo/TT run on Fridays, I'll just scale it back for them so the route will pass by the house after a few miles so the younger ones can peel off and those who can go further will continue--still not sure how it will work (we'll have to let the younger ones set the pace and then increase it as they are done), but I want us to get more conditioned before we start tacking on the miles.
