Thursday 3.7.13 WOD

1.  Stretching & Mobility (15-20min)
2.  Proper Push Up Form and Technique (15-20min)
3.  Clean & Jerk 5x5

    Nice easy workout maybe lol until the 5x5, think I got to 98lbs today.

  2. Suzanne, no need to be miss manners around us, everyone will think something is wrong with you..LOL. I know it was an easier workout today but my upper body is pretty beat up. Not looking forward to tomorrow's workout. For those who haven't seen the workout yet, you might want to take a look before you show up tomorrow. BURPEES...that's a clue.

    The only thing that is motivating me to do the workout tomorrow is my trip to Santa Cruz this weekend. I will be eating all kinds of bad stuff and I will be swashing it down with my favorite quenching libations. (going to Pizza my Heart and the Santa Cruz Diner which was featured on diners drive-ins and dives) If anyone is looking for something to do this weekend I'll be relaxing on the beach at the Boardwalk all Day Saturday while the kids are entertaining themselves on the rides and playing on the beach!!!!

  3. Wanted to get open wod 13.1 before I go to work tomorrow. Modified snatches to clean and jerks. No sense making another trip to the ER.
    40 burpees
    30 clean and jerks 75lbs
    30 burpees
    30 clean and jerks 135lbs
    20 burpees
    30 clean and jerks 165lbs
    10 burpees
    30 clean and jerks 210lbs
    Score of 158. Made it to 8 clean and jerks at 165lbs. Worked out alongside my favorite workout partner. No not Mickey the dog. Way to go Shelly! We were smoked!

  5. Thank you Shelly, for teaching me the proper push up form! And for not beating me up so bad, even though I know it's only because I'm in for a brutal beating tomorrow!
    I really enjoyed learning the clean & jerk!

  6. Worked out with Andy. He's always a good motivator and I enjoy when we get to workout together!! Also did the Clean & Jerks instead of snatches. Got thru 116 reps. Tomorrow's gonna be fun everyone!! :)
